Precision Tightness Testing

Whether it is a new installation or an existing site, every petroleum tank owner’s primary concern should be whether or not their system is tight without leaks. Having a leak free system is critical to the environment and your bottom line.

Simard & Sons is certified to perform a variety of precision tightness tests which can give a tank owner the peace of mind that their system is leak free and passes all state and federal requirements.

As part of every new system installation, we perform a Pascal Perfect Installation Test developed by the Leighton O’Brien Environmental Compliance company. This allows us to give a 100% guarantee that the system is tight by using advanced procedures and equipment that is able to detect losses with 1/7,000 psi sensitivity. This means zero water ingress, zero leakage, and zero vapor loss from tank and line system breaches of any kind.

As part of this procedure, a full test report with the evaluated data and photos is also supplied to the site owner for their records. This is an added value and sense of security to the customer that the majority of petroleum equipment installation companies cannot offer.

The Leighton O’Brien testing services are offered exclusively through Simard & Sons within New England.
